Scheme of Examination (Nursing Officer)
Single Tier Examination
Total Questions: 200 (200 Marks)
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Minimum Qualification marks: The mandatory minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I Examinations for the post of Nursing Officer will be applicable only in r/o Section-B which is domain subject specific (i.e. Nursing). There will not be any minimum qualifying marks in Section-A. However, combined aggregate marks of both Section-A & Section-B will be reckoned for preparing the final merit list.
न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक: नर्सिंग अधिकारी के पद के लिए टियर- I परीक्षाओं में अनिवार्य न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक केवल Section-B में लागू होंगे जो डोमेन विषय विशिष्ट (नर्सिंग) है। Section - A में कोई न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक नहीं होंगे। हालाँकि, Final Merit सूची तैयार करने के लिए Section - A और Section - B दोनों के संयुक्त कुल अंकों की गणना की जाएगी।
The Board, in order to achieve qualitative selection and to recruit the best talent available, has fixed the following minimum qualifying marks (wherever applicable) for different categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-SM):
General/EWS: 40%
OBC (Delhi): 35%
SC/ST/PH (PwBD): 30%
Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam will be normalized (If required) by using the formula published by DSSSB vide Notice No. 10 (271)/Sec. Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018 (Annexure-II) and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and provisional nomination/selection.
Normalization Formula: Xn = {S2/S1 )*{X-Xav)+Yav.(Xn)
कंप्यूटर आधारित टेस्ट/परीक्षा में उम्मीदवारों द्वारा प्राप्त अंकों को DSSSB द्वारा Notice No. 10 (271)/Sec. के तहत प्रकाशित फॉर्मूले का उपयोग करके सामान्यीकृत किया जाएगा (यदि आवश्यक हो)। Cell/DSSSB/18/989 दिनांक 11.07.2018 (अनुलग्नक-II) और ऐसे सामान्यीकृत अंकों का उपयोग अंतिम योग्यता और अनंतिम नामांकन/चयन निर्धारित करने के लिए किया जाएगा।
Only following two types of certificates will be accepted as valid certificates for grant of benefit of reservation to OBCs:-
(A) OBC certificate (Delhi) issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi, on the basis of a old certificate issued to any member of individual’s family from GNCT of Delhi.
(B) OBC certificate issued by a Competent Authority outside Delhi to a person belonging to a community duly notified as OBC by GNCT of Delhi. This certificate should have mandatorily been issued on the basis of OBC certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi to a family member of the concerned person who had been residing in Delhi before 08/09/1993.

GNM + 1 Year Experience (Delhi Govt. and MCD)
B. Sc. (Nursing) + No experience (Delhi Govt. and MCD)
No experience required in NDMC
Age Criteria
18 to 30 years (Delhi Govt. and MCD)
18 to 32 years (NDMC)
